Moose In Rocky Mountain National Park

The moose population must be doing very well in RMNP.  11 moose in 3 days is a record by far.  We were thrilled to see bulls, cows and three calves on a quick side trip last week.  

Usually the moose are easier to find along the Colorado River on the west side of the park.  How exciting to also find them on the east side near West Horseshoe Park and a sighting on Old Fall River Road.  No doubt they enjoyed the recent park closure and the limited visitors recently.
