Green Heron and the New Lens

Very excited for this fall season.

After years of waiting, I finally have a good 70-200mm f/2.8 lens.  A once-in-a-lifetime football season with two sons playing varsity ball together (sr and soph) is enough reason!

The luck started early on a practice run with the lens tonight.  An elusive Green Heron has been hard to capture at the local lake, but tonight was the night.  Not as sharp as I need, but I'll take the first practice run capture.  I can't wait to use this lens under the Friday night lights this season!
